happy new year!

the murmuration of starlings in Rome was one of the most memorable natural phenomena i've gotten to witness.

the birds focus on matching only a few of their neighbours, and end up forming these beautiful, scintillating, abstract shapes in the sky, without even knowing it.

also i left all my work behind for the first time in a long time. and the food was realllyyyyy good!

back to cold, autumnal, academic Oxford: it's beautiful here :^)

my favourite course right now is combinatorial optimisation. i'm also doing a research project on models for hypothesis generation for genetic perturbation studies: post on this coming soon!

focusing on writing (on here!) and making things (as opposed to running events and stuff. main hobbies are gym and lino as usual, but i'm also getting back into acoustic guitar, running, cooking more creatively.

building granola, taking pottery classes, learning design, building up this site.

spending summer in London with family and friends, enjoying routine.

bringing maker/hackathon culture to Oxford, and the UK, by running weekly co-working sessions at [orchard] and by organising Ensemble
